It brings together private entrepreneurs as well as other citizens who intend to start or improve their own business. Since its establishment, the LiNK association has grown into the largest association of entrepreneurs in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, bringing together 140 companies from various business sectors.
The association operates on the principles:
– democratic organizations,
– representation of all associated companies,
– voluntary membership.
In its work, the LiNK Association relies on the Regional Entrepreneurship Center – Service Center, which provides business – advisory services to its users. The internal organization, technical and human resources are arranged according to the requirements of rapid and dynamic development, with constant concern for preserving and improving the quality of implemented projects and services. The Association of Entrepreneurs and the Service Center are drivers of local and regional economic development, through association, representation of the interests of companies and entrepreneurs, and the provision of qualified services. From this direct connection with entrepreneurs and businessmen, the need arose for representing and advocating the interests of the economy, and for more active participation in the creation of public policies for better business conditions.
Through its work, LiNK has a direct influence on the adoption and creation of public policies, both independently and through membership in various networks. This is supported by the appointments of LiNK by the competent levels of government. LiNK is:
• One of the drivers of small business development (Act on Small Business Promotion HNK/Ž);
• Member of the Committee for the Development Strategy of the HNK/Ž;
• Member of the Committee for the Development of the Strategy of the City of Mostar;
• Coordinator of the work of the Council for Competitiveness and Development of Herzegovina-Neretva Canton (decision of the Government HNK/Ž);
• Member of the Economic and Social Council HNK/Ž (decision of the Government HNK/Ž),
LiNK has membership in the following networks:
• LEDnet network (Network of organizations for local economic development of BiH),
• Incubator network BiH,
• Network of Credit Guarantee Funds FBiH,
• MRR BiH – Rural Development Network BiH,
• SeeNet Network,
• Network NVO,
• Network Sporazum PLUS BiH.
Udruženje LiNK je razvilo institucionalni okvir te u svoje poslovanje uvelo praksu primjene međunarodnog standarda EN ISO 9001:2015, koji kroz različite alate preferira kontinuirana poboljšanja u poslovanju organizacija.
The LiNK Association has developed an institutional framework and introduced the practice of applying the international standard EN ISO 9001:2015 into its operations, which prefers continuous improvements in the operations of organizations through various tools.
In the course of its many years of activity, the Association has built a unique approach, based on experience, professionalism, responsibility and commitment, guided by a simple motto:
“Nothing will come by itself. Success does not respond to the call of wishes. It responds only to definite plans, supported by burning desire through constant persistence and activity”.
LiNK is a supportive organization of its members that creates an environment for them to improve their business, use professional knowledge and implement their development initiatives. LiNK is a development organization of local, regional self-government and state administration units with which it has developed strategic partnerships and implements their development policies. We support teams and drivers of development, and help them improve their management skills, build cooperation networks and promote and implement innovative public policies. LiNK is part of the civil society sector in Bosnia and Herzegovina and, together with other members, fights for a better environment for the work of civil society, and supports civil society organizations in their work. LiNK provides expert support for development and promotes the involvement of all partners in development, and we strive for partnerships at the highest level. We want to strengthen the influence of Bosnia and Herzegovina on international development with outstanding services, products, innovations and creations.
We are an organization that is a LINK for development initiatives through which we build a supportive environment for the development of entrepreneurship in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bosnia and Herzegovina with all its natural and human resources should be a place of good living. We want to build a sustainable Bosnia and Herzegovina, a region and an EU where women and men live under the rule of law and are free to progress. LiNK is a European player that increases the influence of Mostar, Herzegovina, Bosnia and Herzegovina on international development. As a knowledge center, we think and act strategically, influence policies and work on policy implementation in order to promote and achieve sustainable development. We animate (network) expertise in an agile and fast way in order to implement sustainable development initiatives that are in line with the priorities of Mostar, Herzegovina and Bosnia and Herzegovina and the goals of LiNK and our partners.

2. LiNK is the strongest development organization in the region with developed tools and programs for local/regional self-governments that systematically increase the absorption capacities for attracting and implementing development funds (with a focus on EU funds).
3. LiNK is the leading initiator of improving the framework for financing the work of civil society organizations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and an active participant in the work of networks and the sector as a whole.
4. LiNK is an initiator and advocate for improving development policies that affect entrepreneurship and development as a whole.
5. LiNK is a model of innovative and creative work (a) administrative-organizational structure, (b) development initiatives and (c) development tools with optimized/digitalized all work processes and work effect measurement processes.

– Successfully implemented more than 50 projects,
– Created more than 400 business plans,
– Provided more than 300 advisory services,
– Organized more than 200 public events,
– Established 2 recycling yards,
– Established 2 business incubators,
– Established 4 honey sales and promotion points,
– Marked and cleared 150 km of Via Dinarica blue trail,
– Certified 10 mountain guides A standard,
– Certified 11 guides in mountain biking,
– Open resort in Ravno,
– Created a platform for creating a better business environment, together with the partners of the LEDnet network (the platform is available at www.poslovnookruzenje.ba),
– Organized training for more than 2,000 participants,
– Issued more than 225 guarantees for SMEs,
– Created and supported the creation of over 1400 jobs.
The LiNK Association provides support for the registration of business entities.
We can proudly say that our many years of experience indicate that we always cooperate with like-minded people, i.e. people who believe that serious entrepreneurship can be done in this country and who believe in a better tomorrow.
LiNK has greatly contributed to creating a better business climate that helps citizens and entrepreneurs, and changes the overall business climate for the better.
The very fact that the Association exists and has been successfully operating for many years is worthy of respect and I have no doubt that LiNK members will continue to support the development of entrepreneurship in BiH for a long time to come.
