Entrepreneurship and Business Association LiNK Mostar, in cooperation with partners the Municipality of Grude, the Vocational secondary school Posušje, Institute for Employment WHC, VMS LLC Posušje, KROR LLC Posšuje, Plava vječnost LLC Posušje and Association of Citizens Sound of Stone Posušje, begins with the implementation of the project: “Sound of Stone – Employment Partnership in Stone Production and Processing Industry”.
This local employment partnership is one of the 19 established in the country within the project “Support to Local Employment Partnerships in Bosnia and Herzegovina”, funded by the European Union with 4 million EUR and implemented by the International Labor Organization (ILO).
The objective of the project is to contribute to the development of the labor market in the stone sector in the area of West-Herzegovinian County. The project will work on the creation of preconditions for resolving the imbalance in supply and demand in the labor market in the sector of stone production of this area. Also, the project will work on the constant increase in the number of young people for training and prequalification, with the aim of employment.
The project will work on establishing a sustainable partnership, creating policies and action plan for employment, improving the capacities of the Center for Stone, and implementing active employment measures for young people.
